Cremaillere changes track

New management and new food.

It looks the same from the outside, but inside it's all change at Monaco's Cremaillere. The restaurant is now a risotteria, in other words, risotto is the house speciality. With around 20 different flavours to choose from, you could eat the famous Italian rice dish every day of the week and not get bored.

Manager Antonio Ierone heads the new team, with chef Federico Cassini in the kitchen, and they've been running the place since the beginning of the year. If you're tempted to eat, there's a selection of hot and cold antipasti to whet your appetite before digging into the risottos. But if rice isn't your thing, the menu offers suckling pig, or tagliolini with lobster.

If that doesn't make you hungry, then try one of the Cremaillere's apero evenings. The next one features live music from Nina Papa.
