Brasserie de Monaco's 500th brew

Open since August 2008, the Brasserie de Monaco has brewed 500,000 litres beer, with 20 special brews created in addition to the usual blonde, white and amber lagers. To mark the occasion, master brewer Francois Pichon has concocted a celebratory blonde beer, similar to that produced in western USA microbreweries. The American Pale Ale is 5.7%, uses American hops noted for their spicy aroma, and only 850 litres have been brewed. Try a pint of the non-filtered, non-pasteurised beer, served direct from barrel to glass.
