Buddha Bar enlightens Monte Carlo

June opening planned for new lounge bar and restaurant.

Monte Carlo SBM may have postponed the Casino refurbishment, but Buddha Bar is still on track to open at 19:00 on 25th June. Monaco's new lounge bar and restaurant is licensed by the Buddha Bar brand, the trendy club founded in Paris and now found in 16 cities around the world. Some of you will know the music even if you never managed to visit the original club.

The Monte Carlo Buddha Bar has a mezzanine restaurant serving gastronomic Asian food to 160 diners, a bar that accommodates up to 100, and 2 outside terraces for smokers. Around 4 to 5 million euros have been invested in refurbishing the venue, which will employ around 50, and open in the evenings only. Located in the old Cabaret concert hall, which has been decorated in red and gold, the lounge bar will also be home to a 4 m high Buddha.

On opening night, there'll also be a ceremony to christen the allee Francois Blanc, the pedestrian street that runs between the Casino and the Cafe de Paris. And if you're feeling lucky, you can register to win a free VIP pass for 2 people.
