Expat community day trip

A visit to the Escoffier Museum is planned by the British Association of Monaco (BAM) on Wednesday 24th April. The outing costs 35 euros for members, and 45 euros for non-members, and includes:
- guided tour round the museum
- lunch in a nearby restaurant
- time to explore Villeneuve Loubet

Open since 1966, the museum was the home of Auguste Escoffier, said to be the father of modern cuisine, an ambassador for French cuisine, and an inspiration for many chefs.
If you can't make the journey with the British Association, you could easily visit on your own. The museum is located in the centre of the old village of Villeneuve Loubet, open daily in the afternoons from 14:00 to 18:00. Entry costs 5 euros, or 2.50 euros for students etc. For more information:
