A day out is being organized by the British Association of Monaco (BAM) on Thursday 30th May. The destination is Dominque Allain's Roquefort les Pins workshop, where he makes Raku ware. There'll be a presentation and demonstration of the Japanese pottery technique and a guided tour of the workshop. You'll also have an opportunity to paint your own design on a cup or bowl, which you can take home with you. Whilst your creation is being fired, a picnic lunch is provided, following which the pots will be removed from the kiln.
