Turkey, cards and home baked cookies.
The British Association of Monaco (BAM) is once again helping British expats prepare for the festive season with a touch of Christmas tradition.
Christmas cards
You can buy Christmas cards at the same prices as last year, with all takings going towards BAM's community support service.
Christmas Kermesse
Association members are managing a stand selling traditional British Christmas goods, at the annual Christmas Kermesse. Last year the event raised over 80,000 euros through sales of used goods and home-made items, including biscuits baked by children. For 2012 the formula is to be repeated, so get your kids cooking and a BAM member will be available on Thursday 29th November from 9:00-10:00 at Trocadero Coffee Shop, and at McDonald's Fontvieille from 14:00-15:00. Products should be wrapped in cling film or a decorated container with a label stating the young patissier's name, age, and date baked.
If you don't have children, but want to help out, you can donate items for the stalls, help deliver donations and set up the stands, or work on the day. Contact Merville at bam[at]monaco.mc. Tombola tickets are also being sold at 2 euros each, with over 40 prizes, and you can contact Petrina on p.t[at]tedeschimail.com to buy or help sell the tickets.
Festive lunch
A festive lunch is planned at A'Trego on 8th December.
