Eco art parade.
If you were in Monaco last summer, you can't fail to have noticed the collection of 55 Bonnelli eagle statues in Casino Gardens and at various spots around town. Organized by Eco Art Parade, the eagles were specially created by leading artists to be auctioned for the Fondation Prince Albert II (FPA2), which managed to raise 650,000 euros. This year the Calao Hornbill and the Sacred Falcon are serving as muses for 35 jewelry designers. Their special creations are on show in the Monte Carlo Art Gallery until 12th August, after which the exhibition goes on tour, first to Singapore and then to Abu Dhabi. Once again, the works will be auctioned by Sotheby's and the profits will be shared between the FPA2, BirdLife International, UNA Energy Children's Fund, Hafiz Foundation and a charity chosen by Sheik Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan. If you miss them in Monaco, you can also view them on the Eco Art Parade website.
