All change on the buses

Nice-Menton bus stop moves to Tourist Office.

If you've been following maBoum since we started, you'll know that we're big supporters of public transport. We often use the TAM bus number 100 to travel along the Cote d'Azur between Nice and Menton and have sometimes wondered why it stops at Square Beaumarchais, opposite the Hermitage Hotel. This bit of road is quite narrow, with two sharp bends on a slope, so there's often a queue of traffic while the bus picks up and sets down passengers.

Well now it seems that Christian Palmaro, head of the Service des Titres de Circulation has also been thinking about the stop and has decided to move it to the front of the Tourist Office. From Monday 19th April, TAM and CARF (Beausoleil, La Turbie, Roquebrune, Menton) buses will no longer stop at Square Beaumarchais. Instead, the Tourist Office and Casino bus stops are to be used as primary interchange points for bus travelers.

Local Monaco bus services 2 and 6 will continue to use Square Beaumarchais.
