Head of Columbus receives Monaco industry award.
The Association des Industries Hotelieres Monegasques named Alexandre-Pierre Faidherbe Hotelier of 2012 during its annual gala evening in September.
Faidherbe began his career in Monaco in 1973 as a young commis de cave at the Hotel de Paris. Over 30 years he gained experience in starred hotels around the world, before returning to the region and serving as a director of Nice's Negresco Hotel. In 2010, he returned to Monaco to take on the role of DG at the Columbus Monte Carlo.
The industry trophy recognizes Faidherbe's career-path and his loyalty to the Principality, where it began.
