Ni Box opens Monaco's first Ice Bar.
Chill out, literally, over the next 2 months on the roof terrace of Ni Box, where ice sculptor Mario Amegee has created the Principality's first ice bar. After two weeks chipping away at blocks of ice in his workshop, the cool bar was inaugurated last week and now welcomes 6 to 8 visitors for 30 minutes, sipping drinks at a temperature of minus 10.
For kids and families, the bar is open on Wednesday this week from 14:00 to 18:00, then at the same times daily during school holidays (22nd December to 7th January). Stay warm with a hot chocolate whilst waiting for a rendezvous with Father Christmas.
For adults, vodka cocktails are de rigueur from Tuesdays to Sundays, 18:00 to midnight.
Whatever day you visit, don't forget your gloves and hat.
